Gradient and Water Marbling

Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend.
My birthday was on the 12th and my awesome sister Becca and her boyfriend Nick
gave me these two polishes.
Shockingly I did not have these two. What were the odds!
The blue is China Glaze Frostbite and the Purple is China Glaze Grape Juice

I started by using Nail Life Nail Gripper as my base coat.

I then painted two coats of Grape Juice since it was the lightest as a base color.

Next I  used a makeup sponge to create a gradient of the purple to blue.

Here's what i looked like after sponging. I didn't clean up since I knew
I was going to be water marbling.

Here it is all cleaned up and with the water marbling done.
I used Wet and Wild Black Creme and China Glaze White Cap for the marbling.

I sealed it all in with a coat of Seche Vite Topcoat!

I hope you all enjoy as much as I do!
Thank you Becca & Nick!

Thank you for visiting and have a fantastic rest of your weekend,

My new love with a stamp!

Wonderful Wednesday!

I am still rocking the Ludurana Aurora Boreal Show and to give it a little oompf, I added a stamp from the Red Angel Collection.

I wanted a stamp that was not a full coverage one cause I didn't want to take away from the polish but just add to its beauty. I'm really happy with this flowery look.

Once again this is very picture heavy cause I got some beautiful pics of the color changing that happens with this polish.

RA-119

Are you kidding me? How awesome does this look?
Look at that color change.

I did not add anymore of the base polish. You can see a little wear on the tips. That is the only damage after 4 days of packing and cleaning!

Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoyed!

Ludurana Aurora Boreal Show

Happy Monday!

I have found a new polish love!
Ludurana Aurora Boreal Show

I'm seriously obsessed with this polish. I've even left it on plain with no stamp or embellishment at all. People who know me know that never happens.

I picked up this lovely from Ninja Polish.
It is a Brazilian polish and had a great application. I applied two coats in these pics along with a coat of Seche Vite Top Coat.

This post is very picture heavy but I just could not put these all in. This polish is a multichromatic that changes from purple to burgundy to green and to teal depending on the light and angle.

Did I mention that this polish smells good? Like seriously smells so nice. Even after three days of wearing they still smell nice. And covered with a top coat. Crazy!

Forgive my thumb, I fell asleep before completely dry on that one. Whoops!
I have had this polish on for four days and there has been minimal wear on the tips. I am in the process of moving so I have been cleaning and packing all the time so this is amazing to me that this is the only wear to them.
I can't wait for the others to come back in stock for me to get.

I hope you enjoyed this beautiful polish like I did!
Have a great day all!

China Glaze Prismatic Collection

Happy Sunday!

I did this mani earlier in the week but didn't post cause of move and birthday. When I say this collection online, I just wasn't impressed.
The bloggers would say how awesome it was but I just saw another colored glitter. I decided to go to Sally's to check out in person.
I totally get it now. These really are awesome in person.
There are specks of multi colred glitter in each one and they kinda shift slightly in color in the light. My pictures too do not do this polish justice.
I got 5 of the 6 collection because the silver one was the only one that did not have the color shifting qualities that the others had so it did nothing for me.

I know the pic looks a little dark but only way I could get it to show the difference in the colors. Otherwise  they all looked similar and just silvery.

I decided to try out the blues color one named Liquid Crystal.

It had simple coverage and it took 3 coats to get completely opaque to the way I liked it.

My plan was to wear alone one day then do a stamp job next day. Problem was that I had to do work in a freezer for about 5 straight hours so the polish was not happy about that and literally popped off in one big chunk.  Oh well, I enjoyed it for that short amount of time.

I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend!
Next post will be about the awesomeness that is the Ludurana Aurora Boreal in Show!
Im in love with it, and it smells so good!

Thank you for visiting and see you next time!

My Birthday Nails!

Happy Awesome April 12th, aka My Birthday!,

I have to do a job at a HH Gregg this morning so hopefully I was not premature in doing my mani but I couldn't have no polish on today!

I just went in collection and picked color that I was loving and then just a stamp that jumped out to me.

I chose China Glaze Shower Together as my base color. I just love this teal blue color. I went to run out for the hubby and realized that matched the dice my friend Bre made me.
I picked this design from the Cheeky Jumbo Plate B
I felt it needed a little something something

So, I added black tips!
Thanks for visiting and have a great Thursday!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone
and if you don't celebrate,
Happy Sunday!

I wanted to do a Easter manicure that was not obviously Easter but more celebration of spring!

 Kinda look like Easter eggs

Here are the supplies I used.

Base Coat: Nail Life Gripper
Pink: Essie A Crewed Interest
Yellow: Ulta Cream of the Crop
Green: Essie Navigate Her
Blue: Hard Candy Sky
Top Coat: Seche Vite
Nail Art Brush
Cuticle Scissors
Gold Nail Striping Tape
( I got the tape off of Ebay, it was a set of I believe 12 different colors)

I first painted all my nails with the yellow since it took 3 coats to get opaque.
I then started hand painting the other three colors. I purposely put some of the lines thicker and some  thinner. I did not want them all the same size.
I did not get the lines perfectly straight but with putting on the striping tape its ok. It is able to hide that little but of waviness from me not getting straight.

I used the cuticle scissors to be able to trim the tape as close to nail as possible.
I then put a couple coats of top coat on top to seal in the tape and to even the feel out.

What do you think?
I think it came out super cute!
Can't wait to do with other combinations of polish and tape.

Girly Army

Hello All,

Today I had a hang out day with my friend Tiffany
and she wanted some nails with
China Glaze Agro from the Capitol Colours Collection.

Finished Look
She came up with that it looked like Army but Girly.

Here is the Agro pre stamp.
Forgive the non clean up but I was going to
stamp and clean that so......I didn't. :-)

Base: Nail Life Gripper
China Glaze Agro
Stamped: Sally Hansen Insta Dry Silver Sweep
Top Coat: Seche Vite

The design she chose was from the Cheeky Jumbo Plate I.
It is knife how they have the reverse image for the other hand to make symmetrical!

I'm going to go do my Spring/Easter mani now!
Have a great Easter everyone!

Thank you for visiting!

Nabi Magnetic Polish Part Deux with Stamping

Good morning,

I was up way to early this morning so I decided to play with polish of course.  Yesterday I had put on Nabi Magnetic polish in this wine color. These polishes have no names.....aggravating!
I forgot the bottle in my car....I painted on my lunch break. I will upload a bottle pic later on.

I was unhappy with the outcome of the magnet.
I mean I was expecting......Boom, magnet lines,
but it was just like...Ehhhhh, I guess I'll form some lines.
I do like the color though.
I wanted an abstract kind of design so I chose this Red Angel design on plate RA102.

I stamped with Wet n Wild Black Creme.
Forgive the shape of my bottle, it is pretty old but its at a great consistency for stamping. It stamps great brand new too. :-)

My lighting kept making weird shadows like I didn't clean up the polish but it totally is. I'm over being anal about getting a better pick. I've gotten too aggravated with it already and its 6 am. Lol

I will be working on a Sally Hansen and Wet n Wild reset today at Rite Aid. I must stay focused while setting all the new polishes and play after.  Ill take some pics if find some outstanding newbies!

Have a great Thursday guys!
Thanks for visiting!

Light it Up Blue for Autism Awareness

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today's manicure is my way of bringing awareness to Autism.
Today is Light it Up Blue. It is the day to celebrate World Autism Awarness Day.

I was invited to participate by my friend La'shaunda whose son has autism.
To help shine a light on Autism, its as easy as changing your porch light to a blue bulb.

I decided to give myself a fun water marble and taping mani in order to do my part. I tried to do the logo but I'm just not that skilled.......yet!

Indoors                                   Closer to show fairy dust sparkle

As always I started with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy.

I  put on 2 coats of Sinful Colors Cinderella

I then used China Glaze Cairbbean Blue, Essie Beach Bum Blu and
China Glaze Fairy Dust for the watermarbling

I used scotch tape to make the design on my ring finger
then put a coat of fairy dust over the top.
