Light it Up Blue for Autism Awareness

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Today is the day to shine awareness on Autism.

I do not have any family members that are affected but I have a good friend I worked with in Savannah who has a son with Autism.

I am showing my support with this blue mani I'm sporting today.

I used these three to create a sponged, mottled effect background and then put a coat of the China Glaze Fairy Dust to just tie everything together.
I also used Marion to stamp on the pinkie.

I decided to do a sort of skittle with the puzzle piece ones. on the index i did the blue background with white stamping. The middle is a lighter blue background with silver stamping and the pinkie is a white background with blue stamping.

Konad White Stamping Polish used on Index
Sally Hansen Insta Dri Silver Sweep  used on thumb, middle and ring
China Glaze Fairy Dust used on all on top of base

 Bundle Monster BM-321
I tried to use the heart that had the puzzle pieces in it but it kept coming out smeared. I used all my Konad stamping polishes and just never looked good.

Bundle Monster BM-319
This puzzle full nail design was a pain in the butt!
The bottom part is not etched enough so it never got a full opaque enough of polish, even when using Konad. I tried scraping super light and still nope.
I got it to work enough to use but man it was causing a bunch of cursing. LOL

Julep Cling Wrap Mani

Hey Guys,

After getting my mystery box I just needed to play with my new colors.
I decided to try this new technique I've been seeing on blogs lately which is the cling wrap method.

It is pretty straight forward. You paint one color on your nails then wait for it to completely dry. You then paint your contrasting color and then dab it with a piece of cling wrap to create a marbled effect.
I'm not quite sure how I feel about it but I think its the colors that are wigging me out.
I just don't know, I feel like it would be a good technique to make zombie nails.

 Base: OPI Nail Envy
Top Coat: Julep Fast Dry Top Coat
Julep Amy and Gayle

 Indoor lighting

It is raining so more lighted indoor.
Kind of has color scheme of the New Orleans Hornets.

Thanks for visiting and look out for some Netherlands nails for UEFA!
