Geaux Saints!

Happy Elecion Day!
Instead of a patriotic man I do one to celebrate the Saints win on Monday Night Football!
Are you ready for some football?!?!

I bet you are not surprised that if LSU was my fave college team
then the Saints would be my fave NFL team!

I went with a not obvious homage to the Saints with this black and gold dotted design.

Don't worry, I will totally have a obvious football design later on that will be highly obnoxious.

Have a great Sunday yall!

Cruisin the Coast Mani

Happy Saturday!
Hopefully y'all are not working like I am and
having a awesome start to your weekend!

A little late on this one so forgive me.
:-)
The weekend of October 13th was the culmination of Cruisin the Coast here on the Gulfcoast .
It is basically a huge week long classic car show.
Thousands of classic cars were in town and it was awesome seeing them all around the beaches!

This post is picture heavy so I apologize in advance but I had a lot of fun with this mani.

I wanted ot include a bunch of different techniques.

I'm really proud of how this came out! love the gradient with the flames and the separation with the graphite striping tape just looks sharp.

Fall Floral

Welcome Back! It's Tuesday but also my Saturday!

I've been trying hard not to admit that summer is gone but it is time to start dabbling in the more fall colors.
I surprised myself with how much I liked this combo.

 DRK-B

I had done a post awhile back where i tested out my new DRK-B plate and found the images were not as crisp as I hoped. Adriana from esmaltaradas.com
commented on that post with some great tips when using their tips.
Her tip of scraping a few more times than normal and even blowing on the image while on the stamper helped out tremendously!
Thank you Adriana!

Konad Special Nail Polish in Red
China Glaze Elephant Walk

Can't wait to try other designs now from this stamping plate!

Thanks as always for visiting!

Peacocks and Fleur de Lis

Happy Tuesday

My friend Brandi visited me after us not seeing each other for 7 years since
I moved half the country away from her.
We had such a great time  and of course our time had to be spent with some Mani's

Here is what Brandi asked me to do for her:
I used the fleur de lis stamp off the DRK-B plate and the peacock was from I believe a bundle monster, 1st series plate.

She decised that the peacock needed some bling so she added different color rhinestones to the tail.
Too Cute!

She did my nails with cupcakes and Ice Cream ( that will be next post)

Konad Black Stamping Polish
China Glaze Orange you Hot
China Glaze Turned up Turquise
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Thank you for visiting and have a awesome tomorrow!

DRK-B Stamping Plate

Happy Tuesday!

I just got in the new DRK-B plate! I had a pre order from Ninja Polish almost a month ago and to be honest I totally forgot about it until I got the email that it was on its way. The pictures will be a bit weird because of the reflections but.....they will do.
I was gonna remove my water marble but decided to test out a few of the designs.

Here is the full plate. These designs are definitely larger than Konad. Some of the single/non full nail ones look like they will be too large. They would turn into a full nail on me.

The only reason I bought this plate was for this Fleur Des Lis design. All thise close to me know how much in love I am with them. I even have rainboots with them on it.
And of course they will go on some awesome Saints nails in the fall!

Loving the flames! Would have been nice to have when doing my Hunger Games, Girl on Fire nails!

Had to post the cupcakes for my sis Becca! she is an awesome baker!!
I even like the tire track. Too bad I'm not into Nascar like I used to be, that would be cute to use. I'll find something to use it for. Any ideas??

Testing out a few:

I was hoping would come out a little better. Maybe if I add some thinner it will show more detail. Hmmmmmm......

Thought was cute for the quilters and sewers out there.

Once again i thought came out a tad "thick". The detail in wings just became one thick line.

Overall I think I will like the plate and will just have to play around more with polish consistency to get the best possible stamp from it.

As always, thank you for visiting and have a great rest of your day!

Knackered plus Fleur Des Lis

Hello Everyone,

I couldn't just leave it at just the Knackered alone! ;-)
I used my new DRK-B plate for this great fleur des lis design.

Stamp: Wet and Wild Black Creme
Butter London Knackered
Top Coat: Butter London Hardwear

I had this purposely blurry so you can see how the ultra fine glitter shows up in the sun!

I hope you liked this look and thank you for stopping by!
