Hey Everyone!
Happy Mardi Gras!!!

Rhinestone nail wheel I got off Ebay.
Sorry that I can't not remember where exactly but super cheap.

Dupe or No Dupe, That is the Question!

Hey Everyone!
I hope you are all having a great Saturday!

I received a request to compare the Julep Sienna that came in my August Maven box with Orly Luxe and I am all too happy to oblige.

 Does look pretty close.

In the pics below, I put two coats of each and topped with a coat of Seche Vite!

Mother nature wasn't cooperating with providing sun but you can see that Orly Luxe does seem to be a brighter true gold.

I have to say that I prefer the Orly Luxe since the Orly is cheaper and larger.
I had gotten this Orly at Sally's for I believe $8 and Julep sells for $14, $12 if a Maven.

I couldn't waste an opportunity to do some stamping!
I used China Glaze Frostbite to stamp this water marble effect stamp from BM320.
I first tried the chrome blue that came in the August Julep Maven Box, Melanie, but it was just too light to show up.

I think it is a really pretty combination.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thank you for visiting!

Olympics!!

Hey Guys!

So I am a dork and LOVE the Olympics. I get all into watching the weird sports like trampoline and handball as well as the well known ones of gymnastics and swimming.

Alot of people were doing some fabulous manis that represent the rings. I decided to do a twist on that.

The color theme for the London Olympics are this fabulous plum/raspberry. I represented it with putting a base of Zoya Reagan and one coat of OPI Louvre Me Louvre Me Not.

I then stamped the the ring design from BM-325 with Orly Luxe
I placed the stamp differently on each nail to add some variety!

I hand painted the Union Jack.
I first painted the base with Sally Hansen White On. I used Zoya Sooki as the base red and then layered China Glaze Ruby Pumps to add some glitter. The blue I used was Butter London Blagger.

I hope you all liked this look and as always, thank you for visiting!

Cling Wrap Mani Redo

Hey Guys,

I was just hating the past Saran Wrap mani so I decided to try again and I like so much more now.

I painted the nails with the pink and then painted the gold onto a piece of Cling Wrap and "sponged" onto the nail instead of painting the second color on nail then "sponging" off. I felt I had more control in this method.

I thought it needed a little something added so used a bundle monster stamp in black.

Thanks for visiting and have a great rest of your day!
