365 Days of Color Rock Candy Mani

Happy Friday Everyone!
I apologize profusely, I got a new job and the hours have cut back my nail time. I have some manis that i need to get into blog form and I promise to tackle them this weekend.

I got a order of 365 Days of Color a few weeks ago and they are absolutely fabulous!

The first of the 365 days of colors I got to show you is Rock Candy.
This was the one polish that got me so excited about this indie brand.

I could not decide for a good base color that would not throw of the glitter so I put it on a light grey since that was the only color that there was no glitter of.

 Base: Nail Life Gripper
OPI: "Cheer" Your Toys
365 Days of Color: Rock Candy
Top:Seche Vite

Gradient Sparkle

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to do something soft and pretty.
I used the sponge technique to do a gradient of CND Guava and China Glaze For Audrey.
I then put a coat of Essie Shine of the Times for some flakie goodness

I'm thinking of adding a gold stamp on top. Hmmmmmm......but which one! ;-)
Thanks for stopping by!

Influenster Summer VOX BOX

Happy Saturday Everyone!

Yesterday I got my first Influenster box!
Influenster is a site that you fill out surveys to earn badges and if you qualify they will send you a lovely box of samples to try and then review!

Here is what I got in my box:
I'm so impresseed on the size of the samples!

It comes with a card that has a description of all the
samples plus gives you the regular retail price of them.

I was excited to get this shampoo and conditioner. Call me silly but love Heidi Klum so I was curious about trying this, it smells really nice.

The great thing it says is that it provides moisture for 12 hours. It has of course a smell like sunscreen in that pina colada kind of way.
Heck yeah a full size bottle of Sally Hansen's new magnetic polish.
Of course I tried it tonight and I will post some pics of the swatch soon!

Sorry about the flash but this is also by Sally Hansen and its therir new nail and cuticle hand creme.
It had a good consistency when i tried it and has a nice citrus smell. Yeah!!
It says it will last through hand washing!

Quaker Banana Nut Bread Soft Baked Bar!
It looks so yummy!
I will definitely be ripping into this in the morning!

 New Always Radiant Samples
How cute is this little pouch bag? Totally going to be using this for the beach!

Came with two tampons, three pantiliners and a pad.
Let me just say, tried the liner and it is super thin, its like nothing is there.
Pretty sweet!

I hope you guys have a fabulous weekend!
Thank you for visiting!

*I received each product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.

Happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July!
Does everyone have some great plans for today?
I did a couple of manicures for this celebration.

The first one was using the nail foils I had gotten from
It was my first time ever using foils and the application was pretty easy.
I did find out though that these have HORRIBLE durability.
After a few hours they started to "peel" off. Its a fun effect but only for a event.
Lava Tides,Arctic Tides & Aegean Tides

I then decided on this design:
I used the sponging method to do the gradient design and
used Julep America for the ring finger and thumb
I used Kleancolor Silver Star to give the gradient a little pizazz.

from left to right:
Julep January
Julep Kate (July Maven It Girl Box)
Butter London  Blagger
KleanColor Silver Star
Julep America (July Maven It Girl Box)

Closeups of Silver Star and America

Thank you so very much for visiting!
I hope you all have a fun and safe 4th!

My July Julep Maven Box came yesterday and it is uber beautiful!
And it came super quick, they ship out on the 27th and came yesterday!

As always comes with the card describing what polishes are in it and again they have a coupon for a free polish so YEAH!

The theme is sparkle to celebrate the 4th of July!
How cute is the star paper and red white and blue crinkle paper?!?!?
It alsocame with Atomic fireballs!
Too cute, those will be for the hubby. ;-)

From top to bottom the colors are:
Kate:"Soft White Pearl"
Daphne: "Fresh seafoam green creme"
Mila: "Charcoal, multi-colored glitter"

The added a special 4th of July polish called America. It is as you can see, mostly red glitter but have silver and blue glitter as well. It also has some tiny stars too. Can't wait to see for Wednesday!

Here they are in the shade.

I already know what I will get for my free polish.
It will be Yumi, it was in the American Beauty box for this month and it is a pink multi dimensional glitter that looked soooooo pretty when I saw some swatches on blogs!

I hope you guys enjoyed this month's box and I hope you have a great Sunday!
