Butter London Knackered

Hey All,
So this is going to be mostly pictures cause it is just too pretty for words.
Knackered is part of Butter London's spring collection and I fell instantly in love.

I couldn't describe better than the companys website so it is
"A sheer, twinkling oyster shade flecked with micro glitter particles."

Pictures do not do this beauty justice.
it is a color changer from purple to greenish to pinky.

The micro glitter shine like crazy when the sun hits it.
Since it is so sheer, I did layer it over a coat of Wet and Wild Black Creme.
The micro glitter sometimes made me think I had bubble when there were none.

I hope you enjoyed her as much as I do and look out for the next blog when I add a stamp for some extra loveliness!

Thank you for spending time here with me!

DRK-B Stamping Plate

Happy Tuesday!

I just got in the new DRK-B plate! I had a pre order from Ninja Polish almost a month ago and to be honest I totally forgot about it until I got the email that it was on its way. The pictures will be a bit weird because of the reflections but.....they will do.
I was gonna remove my water marble but decided to test out a few of the designs.

Here is the full plate. These designs are definitely larger than Konad. Some of the single/non full nail ones look like they will be too large. They would turn into a full nail on me.

The only reason I bought this plate was for this Fleur Des Lis design. All thise close to me know how much in love I am with them. I even have rainboots with them on it.
And of course they will go on some awesome Saints nails in the fall!

Loving the flames! Would have been nice to have when doing my Hunger Games, Girl on Fire nails!

Had to post the cupcakes for my sis Becca! she is an awesome baker!!
I even like the tire track. Too bad I'm not into Nascar like I used to be, that would be cute to use. I'll find something to use it for. Any ideas??

Testing out a few:

I was hoping would come out a little better. Maybe if I add some thinner it will show more detail. Hmmmmmm......

Thought was cute for the quilters and sewers out there.

Once again i thought came out a tad "thick". The detail in wings just became one thick line.

Overall I think I will like the plate and will just have to play around more with polish consistency to get the best possible stamp from it.

As always, thank you for visiting and have a great rest of your day!

Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!
I hope you all are enjoying the holiday and thank you to all the men and women who have given their lives to give us the freedom we enjoy!
I wanted something patriotic but also that represented the military.
I did a alternating red, white and blue water marble and camo look.

Red: China Glaze Poinsetta
White: Sally Hansen White On
Blue: China Glaze Frostbite

My fave finger that came out!

Light green: China Glaze Starboard
Darker Green: OPI Jade is the new Black
Brown: OPI You Don't Know Jacques
Black: Wet and Wild Black Creme

I decided to make it matte cause thought it looked more military appropriate
instead of being all shiny.

  Top Coat: Seche Vite
Base Coat: Nail Life Gripper
Matte top coat for Camo: Essie Matte About You

 Right Hand

Have a great rest of your holiday and thank you for visiting!

Psychedelic Summer Water Marble

 Hello,
Today I have a water marble design that uses all the lovelies of the Zoya Beach I showed you previously.

After applying the base coat I put a coat of Shelby on all my nails.

I then did my water marble design in the rest of the colors, Lara,Reagan,Arizona and Wednesday.

The formula was pretty think and a little aggravating for water marbling so I added a few drops of polish thinner to each. It made it flow a lot better out of bottle
as well as spread better when it hit the water.

 Base: Nail Life Gripper
Top Coat: Seche Vite
A little dash of sparkle goodness: China Glaze Fairy Dust.

I had been getting a lot more bubble on nails then usually, I'm thinking once again because of the thick consistency. To try to make them less noticeable and add a bit of sparkle, I put one coat of my favorite, China Glaze Fairy Dust. It added just enough sparkle without being too much.

I thought it looked very psychedelic 60's but in a fun summer way!
I really loved how the colors worked together!

This was my favorite nail.
Love the flowery design that happened on this one.

Hope you enjoyed this design and thank you coming by!

Another Bundle Monster Preview!

Hey Everyone,

It has got to be getting close to order time for the new Bundle Monster plates. On preview Wednesday, the showed us not one but two of the plates!

I am loving the awareness ribbons on 321. I could have used that for my Light it up Blue for Autism nails.
Wait......are those puzzle pieces inside the heart? Even more awesomeness I could have used for those nails. Hopefully there will be a puzzle piece on its own.

I am liking the geometric designs on 322, who doesn't love a hounds tooth?
The cross is very pretty and will be great for Easter.
The piece of candy is adorable as well.

Which ones of these two do you like?

Thank as always for visiting and have a great day!

Zoya Beach Collection (minus Tracie)

TGIF Everyone!

I fell in love online with the new Zoya Beach collection so I had to get it with one exception.....Tracie.

The reason I loved the Beach part of the summer collection was it was cremes. I have found a new love in creme's that wasn't there before. Tracie.....is a shimmer! What is it doing there? Why a shimmer in all cremes? It would have made a beautiful creme color. Grrrrr......

Well onto the other 5 lovelies:

Shleby: Its a bubble gum pink but not leaning on the pastel side.

Wednesday: Awesome turquoise but not your typical bright type. The Zoya description kinda nails it by  saying it's a "Faded, dirty medium turquoise."

Lara: Typical Barbie pink

Reagan: It is a deep fushia/raspberry. Very gorgeous color.

Arizona: A bright but not crazy bright citrus orange color. Super Fun

The formula was a little thick for my liking and you will see in the nail art I do with these that I actually used a little thinner to make them work how I wanted.

I hope everyone has a great Friday and
Thank you for visiting!

Monarch Butterfly Mani

Greetings All,

I am a Pinterest addict and just fell in love with a gradient with a couple of beautiful Zoya colors.
I thought it would make a great base to do a monarch design on top of.

Here is the lineup:
Base Coat: Nail Life Gripper
Red:    Zoya Sookie
Orange: Zoya Arizona
Black: Wet and Wild Black Creme
White: Sally Hansen White On
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Red:    Zoya Sookie
Orange: Zoya Arizona

I used my regular gradient method of using a makeup sponge to apply on the colors.
I first painted a base coat of Arizona since it was the lighter of the two.

Did not bother to clean up since still have to do design.

To do the lines I used one of my nail art brushes. I altered one of them to make easier for me to use.
The brush with two on it had bristles that were same length as the #3 one but I just felt I didn't have much control. I used a cuticle scissor to trim it down to a length that made it easier.

I then used my smallest dotting tool to make the spots on the wings.
I thought I got these from Bundle Monster but I must not have but I found a set on Ebay for my sister for $1.89 with free shipping from China.
Awesome Deal!

I think they came out pretty cute.
Can't wait to try with other colored gradients to improve my free hand painting skills!

Thank you for visiting and I hope your Sunday is Awesome!
