Hey Everyone!

I have a confession to make. You all obviously know I have a obsession with nail polish but I also have a addiction to tea.

Yep you heard right TEA! I love it. Its yummy and relaxing and I love the creativeness of the different blends and how the proper way to brew it.
Just Awesome!

So here is a combo of my two loves....Nail Polish and Tea!

My 35th Birthday Nails!

Hey Everyone!
Happy Friday April 12th!

Today is my birthday and I wanted to show ya'll what I chose to wear today!
I didn't want to do like the typical cupcakes or balloons but wanted to go out comfort zone and do something I've been wanting to try.

I wanted to have some fun and try doing some non stamped flowers.
I used a striping brush for the branches and a dotting tool for the flowers.

I guess they are kind of cherry blossom inspired.

 China Glaze Fairy Dust
Konad Special Stamping Polish Black
(Since I have not set up my nail room, I am working with all my Juleps and some others. I did not have a brown in my refined stash so I took the Konad black and added a little bit of nail thinner to get it watered down to paint with a stripper brush)

You can see in above how I put the Fairy Dust just on the branches and flowers to add just a bit of bling. I think something would be wrong with me if I did not use Fairy Dust on my birthday!
Just love that topcoat.

I even did the design on my non dominant hand!
Below is the comparison of the two hands:
 Left Hand
 Right Hand
Not to bad for painting with my non dominant hand. I realized I made the flowers slightly smaller. I guess I have a rougher application of a dotting tool with the dominant hand. lol

Winstonia Plate Testing

Hey Everyone! Happy Sunday!

So forgive my cuticles but was playing around and wanted to try out this stamp.

I had just watched Project Runway where they did a prom dress made out of Duck Tape.
This one team did one to replicate houndstooth in red and black.

This plate stamped well and is etched in very well.
Can't wait to play with more!

Hope you all have a great rest of your weekend! See you next time!

St. Patty's Gradient and Stamping

Welcome Back! Happy Friday!
Today I did a little gradient sponging and some stamping.

I had done my index and pinky in the reverse colors but I fudged up the index and everytime I tried to fix...it got worse. Oh well.

Black and Gold New Years Mani

Happy New Years Eve Everyone!!

I hope you all have a great safe night welcoming in 2013!
Its lame but.....I will be asleep. I unfortunately have to work in the morning so no late night for this girl. I'm like a grandma and if I don't get adequate sleep...Major Cranky Pants.

As I promised yesterday, today I have for  you a black and gold mani for today's festivities!

I did two coats of the gold glitter , I did not put a gold base coat down cause I wanted it to be less opaque. The polish just reminded me of sparkly, bubbly champagne!
Hence why I did the bubble stamp on all but my middle finger.
I just used a Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen to write on the 2013.

 Konad Stamping Polish in Black
Julep Vivien (Such a great glitter, has big chunky glitter and microglitter!)

Isn't it beautiful?

 Cheeky Jumbo Nail Plate (B)
As you can probably tell, these plate scratch HORRIBLY but does not affect the actual stamp thank goodness, just looks bad.

Alrighty guys, this will be the last post of 2012! I can't believe the year is over but excited to see what 2013 brings.
Thank you so much for stopping by to visit and I hope you all have a great night but please make it home safe and have a designated driver or call a cab!
Thanks guys and see you next year!

Geaux Saints!

Happy Elecion Day!
Instead of a patriotic man I do one to celebrate the Saints win on Monday Night Football!
Are you ready for some football?!?!

I bet you are not surprised that if LSU was my fave college team
then the Saints would be my fave NFL team!

I went with a not obvious homage to the Saints with this black and gold dotted design.

Don't worry, I will totally have a obvious football design later on that will be highly obnoxious.

China Glaze Swanky Silk and Stamping!

Hello Everyone!
I'm gonna be showing the new China Glaze Bohemian Luster Chrome Collection in the next few posts. I'm really loving these colors.  I love a good multichrome. :-)

First up is Swanky Silk

I used Konad Special Polish Black for the stamping.

I wanted to try out this stamp on BM-310
I liked how it offered the inverse image. I decided to use the inverse image for my accent nail.

Have a great day everyone!

Peacocks and Fleur de Lis

Happy Tuesday

My friend Brandi visited me after us not seeing each other for 7 years since
I moved half the country away from her.
We had such a great time  and of course our time had to be spent with some Mani's

Here is what Brandi asked me to do for her:
I used the fleur de lis stamp off the DRK-B plate and the peacock was from I believe a bundle monster, 1st series plate.

She decised that the peacock needed some bling so she added different color rhinestones to the tail.
Too Cute!

She did my nails with cupcakes and Ice Cream ( that will be next post)

China Glaze Orange you Hot
China Glaze Turned up Turquise
Top Coat: Seche Vite

Thank you for visiting and have a awesome tomorrow!
